Should You Buy Your Kid a Drone for Christmas?

Youngsters wish to play with the latest gizmos and toys and games. Even since the 80’s kids and even individuals have enjoyed the hobby of RC (Radio Controlled) cars, helicopters and airplanes. These days the technology has advanced and have a new generation of RC drones that come in many shapes, sizes and types.

So if you’re considering buying one of these fun toy RC drones for your kid then you should first ask yourself some questions and then from the answers you will better know whether buying a drone, or not, is the best choice as well as with any luck ,, have more of your idea on what type of drone to actually buy them!

When it comes to flying drones around which may vary in size. Some are incredibly small nanodrones and some are large octocopters. Some have an extended controller range than others and some have a longer battery-life and more flight time. A lot of have cameras on them, some don’t. Some are incredibly cheap and relatively inexpensive to replace, some drones are incredibly expensive of course as they have high quality cameras on them and other high technical flight gear. The greater, heavier professional camera drones are probably not what you need someone very young and inexperienced to be traveling by air around. So if you have a very young child you may want to consider the more smaller, fun size nanodrones that are relatively cheap and cheerful but provide a pilot with 5-10 minutes of quick fun flying of the drone and let the pilot accomplish 360 flips and mid-air rolls at the press of a button.

For more experienced children or young young adults, they might want something a little more sophisticated. Although nanodrones that can do the 360 mid-air flips and rolls etc are appealing including the Parrot Running Spider or the Hubsan Q4 Nanodrone. Even some of the bigger bigger quadcopters can do this and so they usually have a fairly longer flight time and further control range including high quality HIGH-DEFINITION cameras that provides FPV (First Person View) in realtime back to the pilot onto a display screen. Equally many good quality flying camera drones let you do FPV traveling which provides an incredibly unique and strong experience to the pilot in particular when merged with FPV Googles that the pilot wears.

Of course, lesser nanodrones are incredibly cheap. Many are better than others and have other gaming features and note of tech that offer an easy and stable flight. Several are meant just for flying only where as even some nanodrones can have cameras on them and have an airline flight time as long as that of big size quadcopters which are a lttle bit more pricier but have that longer flight time and more control of the drone. The single thing is with larger sized quadcopter drones is that of course unlike nanodrones if they hit something going very fast it can possibly do a little destruction depending on what it hits, how fast it hit it and what angle and so out But nanodrones usually just hit and bounce somewhat than crumple as We’ve seen quadcopters do when hitting things at high-speed.
